Please read all of the terms +conditions set forth below. The Self Care Retreats are offered subject to our standard terms and conditions.
Attending A Retreat
You can attend The Self Care Retreats by filling out an application. Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot on The Self Care Retreats but you cannot attend without an application. Applications are carefully reviewed. Attendees will be selected and notified via email by September 2019. All application fees are non-refundable.
2. Reservation Policy
The Self Care Retreats prices reflect all inclusive packages including room and board, three meals a day, flight, transportation, and one excursion. Additional excursions and spa services may be available for purchase.
Once selected to attend The Self Care Retreats, you must pay your deposit with a valid credit card within thirty days of notification. If deposit is not paid within thirty days, your reservation will be opened to another applicant.
3. Deposit & Payments
Your deposit for The Self Care Retreats are $400.00. Monthly payment plans will be available. Costs are depended on your room selection. Deposits are non-refundable. All payments must be completed in full one month (30 days) prior to departure.
4. Cancellation Policy
If for any reason you are unable to attend The Self Care Retreats, the following cancellation policy is applied:
90 Days: Refund of 40% of payment. Deposit not included.
60 Days: Refund of 20% of payment. Deposit not included.
45 Days: Forfeit of payment in total.
Cancellation By The Self Care Retreats: The Self Care Retreats reserves the right to cancel a retreat for any reason at sole discretion including but not limited to - low participants, compromised safety, or life threatening situations. In case of cancellation, refunds will be made in full to all participants.
5. Flight Conditions
By attending The Self Care Retreats, on retreats with inclusive flights: attendees are responsible for costs of flying to airport of departure. Most times we will be leaving directly from Miami airport or Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson airport for roundtrip travel. If for any instance, attendee misses their group flight, they are responsible for rebooking fees. This includes but not limited to - missing initial flight, missing flight due to layover, or missing the departing flight. Once flights are booked, there will be no changes made to arrival or departure times. No refunds will be given for not arriving.
If attendee would like to book their own flight, attendee will receive a 15% discount on overall retreat price. Attendee will be responsible for travel expenses from airport to resort location. There is no discount given on early or late arrivals and departures.
6. Room Reservations
Rooms are configured on a first come, first serve basis. Our room accommodations are based on resort location. We offer single and double occupancy as well as shared bed occupancy depending on resort location. These terms are outlined in specific retreat packages. If attendee books a shared bed occupancy and their travel companion cancels, we will match them with another attendee or attendee that will still be attending retreat will be responsible for the cost of the shared space in full.
7. Travel Documents
A passport is not required at time of booking reservation. Attendees are responsible for having all travel documentation up to date forty five (45) days prior to departure. The Self Care Retreats is not responsible for lost, missing, stolen, damaged, or non forms of travel documentation. There will be no refunds given if attendee does not have all documentation, included but not limited to valid passport, driver’s license, travel visas, entry fees, etc. required for travel.
8. Personal Safety & Responsibility
The Self Care Retreats is not responsible for any medical injuries, physical injuries, or illnesses of attendees. Attendees accept sole responsibility of health and wellness. Attendee has the right to not participate in any activity while on The Self Care Retreats. Attendee accepts sole responsibility for personal wellness and ensures that that are able, physically well and mentally stable to participate in any and all parts of The Self Care Retreats. The Self Care Retreats highly recommends purchasing travel and medical insurance before attending a retreat destination provided by The Self Care Retreats. Before attending one of our retreat destinations, you will be required to sign a waiver stating that you are in full acknowledgement of our policies.
9. Personal Property & Responsibility
The Self Care Retreats are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal or business property that attendee willingly brings with them on their retreat. Upon check in, we highly recommend placing valuables in a safe location or or a secured location. Please limit your valuables. The Self Care Retreats highly recommends that attendees obtain property insurance over valuables while traveling on any of our retreat destinations.
10. Resort & Country Policies
All attendees are subject to the rules and regulations of the resort policies in which The Self Care Retreats will be held. If there is any damage to the property or rules are broken, attendee takes sole responsibility for consequences administered by resort or country of travel. This includes but is not limited to property damage, drug usage, loss of life, thievery, and public intoxication.
The Self Care Retreats retains sole and exclusive ownership and all copyright license rights of the photography, information, and material displayed on our website and footage obtained during the retreats. The material may not be modified, copied or used in any other way without first obtaining written permission from The Self Care Retreats.
The Self Care Retreat will not be held responsible for “acts of God”. This refers to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, airport closures and delays, intentional and accidental failures of performance by third parties - including suppliers and subcontractors, or any other failures beyond the control of The Self Care Retreat.
